Really strange engine idling

I had a same kind of issue mine would do it only if its cold. The idle would go up to 1500 down to 1000. But i fixed mine something to deal with the TB ones I replaced it the car idled fine in the cold.

Adding a diagnostic check to your troubleshooting could also have been something simple to do. Would you agree John?
