Ummm. I don't think anything aftermarket for speed is so called street legal. LOL. Yeah. If there was a limit for the streets I think I heard that anything above 500HP is not street legal. I don't know or remember if this was true or not.

I prefer autox and generally driving quickly round town.. I'm going for F1 not TopFuel. Airgo i don't want to go round a corner, stop it and fly off on a tangent...My plan is to build a Super quick motor with 250whp but also a higher final gear ratio..
Current = 4.11 in 5th 0.79 - on 185/65-14's @ 7000rpm = 242.2KPH
Manual GS Ring Gear = 4.39 in 5th 0.79 - on 185/65-14's @ 7000rpm = 226.7KPH
0-60 will loose about .2 seconds

.. and then 215/45-16 inch lightweights..
Possibly getting the trans regeared for close ratios ending with what is now 4th gear as 5th..

ahh the drawbacks of 5 speeds...
either acceloration or top speed... cant have em both

not much gain... are u madd... RWD is a MASSIVE gain + the extra weight of the rear end would balance the car.. if not heavy up the rear...

its just not cost effective. miatas still onyl get so much WHP with the 2.0.
just better off keeping it FWD and turboing
