:welder: :2thumbsup: Alright, I emptied the gas tank via the bolt on the bottom, which was perfectly preserved in sludge, and put in a couple gallons of fresh 93 octane gas. Now it starts right up, but, white smoke pours out the exhaust (although I haven't seen how it behaves once it's warmed up). Does that mean it is burning oil? my dad thinks it would be black, not white, if it was burning oil.

white smoke means its burning coolant, or it might just be condinsation in the exhaust.

make sure you change the oil in the engine and then let it run and get up to normal temperature. see if it still is smoking.

Ther was coolant leaking from around the right side of the radiator so it wouldn't surprize me if it was leaking in the engine too. Would this problem be gone if I ended up rebuilding the engine? Right now, I am swaping a KLDE into it and the current crappy 200k+ mile K8 will be a rebuild project (If I can find a K8 rebuild kit).
