mx-3 vs....

This post is almost a year old

I just wonder if anybody would even race these cars completely stock anyways...

My friend had a 94 civic EX (vtec) with CAI and I had my 92 mx-3 k8 with CAI and we were dead even...

so are those times not very accurate then? I just want to know how a stock mx6 compares to a stock mx3 cuz thats what my friend has

Well according to the 1991 Car and Driver article about the mx-3 the 0-60 is 8.5 and the 1/4 mile is 16.0 @ 85 mph... top speed of 125 mph

According to a mx-3 in 1994 Autoweek the 0-60 is 8.3 and the quarter is 16.3 @ 83mph...

For the mx-6 I found this listing:

It says that for the 1996 2.5v6 mx-6 the 0-60 is 7.9 and the quarter is 16.1 @ 87mph

and according to wikipedia for the mx-6:

Don't forget even though the mx-6 v6 is heavier it has 34 more hp and 41 more torque! So at the line a stock mx-6 v6 would be very close to a stock mx-3 v6.

wow First person with a lot of help...Thanks man. great post...its fine if his is faster I just wanted to know because we always talked about it and couldnt tell when he drove my car and then drove his.
