Well i do know my rotary and the end seals and side seal's are
interfernace else you would'nt get compression.
and the are the limiting factor on porting, more on the side seals
than the end seals.
Oh and yes they do exceed spec if the block is not dowelled and you
constantly are spinning past 12,000 rpm and on boost.
