Anyone ever try putting it in without the clip? ..im assuming it does nto work....but ya never know.

It works. I did it on mine and drove it that way daily for almost 6 months. But eventually I took the time to put it in because I've head too many horror stories. Also, you're prone to leak fluid like that.

I will create a nice pictured work log of me changing my drive shaft this weekend, just bought one today, it had to be ordered and should be here tomorrow morning or tonight.
