The Miata kit is pretty much a straight bolt on. There is a guy around here with a B5-ZE putting out some where around 170 WHP at 8psi with the Rage B5 DOHC 4 to 1 header for the 323. Actually the way the Miata kit is make is to your advantage the outlet points to the passangers side which make the most direct path to a FMIC which is something missing with the original Miata kit. The first time I saw this done was back in the mid-late on a (8V) 1.6 SOHC 323.

As a side note I have been playing with a small industrial engine S/C that is about a 1 bigger that the stock A/C compressor. Instead of importing a complete compressor from Europe. I just had a Chantele plug the cad dimensions into their 5 axis wood mill and had a MDF mock up made. For test purposes I'm fabricated a mounting bracket using an old style OE Mazda A/C bracket left over from one of the scrapped KL's. There is no intention to design or make a kit for the K or B series even though I have about 90% of a full bolt-on kit that was mocked up about 6 years ago for a KL. Right now the goal is to produce a kit for the FS-DE and L series engine since there is enough of a market to make it worth the time and effort to manufacture.

does anyone know what supercharger would be ideal for the situation?

im good at custom fab. would there be any cars in the jy with a supercharger that would fit the application?

i guess allmost any supercharger would work with the correct gearing no?

as long as the physical demensions fit, im only looking to run about 4-5 psi, maby more in the future.

any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
