If you got the Top Mix one from BC Auto then you do NOT need the stock hatch garnish. In fact it will look worse with it on in my opinion. It fits perfect with out it.

Its a stupid myth that someone started here years ago. Trust me I have seen it installed both ways up close and it looks and fits 100x better without the garnish, I've known 2 people personally even that had it installed with the hatch garnish and then later removed it because it looked crappy and didn't fit right. Just get it install properly without the garnish and you will be very happy with it.
