what did you do with those scratched DE cams, were they useable or did the lobes need refinishing ?

They're in and running. I plan on replacing them along with the scratched heads in spring, but the bad heads and cams have been running OK for the last 8,000 miles. I even took it autocrossing two weeks ago and had the car floored for 15 minute sessions at a time. No issues.
