yea i can hold them that long, the Passenger side has a side marker in it that needs to be replaced that a problem?

the ticking noise is your HLAs (hydrolic lifters). i'm guessing they are ticking because the car was sitting around so long. change the oil and take it out for a drive and my bet is that it will go away after a little bit. maybe there is some kind of oil treatment that you can put in to help clean it out a little better???

you will probably want to put some fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank too.
