it is totally possable to make 250 to the wheels with a BP and a VJ-20. espescially if its on an N/A motor. its all in the tunning. there are people hitting 250 with a B6DE and a VJ14. its definatly not unheard of. get over it.

also i think Jeff had a DE with the SC. im actually looking into doing the same thing for a buddy. having a ZE thats supercharged would be nice. alot of low end power and torque. one could probably get 280 to 300 hp respectivly if tuned properly.

Josh, are you willing to share some of your experience, expertise, insights and sources for required parts and installers. The reason being is that I don't believe I've got the necessary skills to do the whole conversion from start to finish. I know my limitations. There are now 3 of us including myself that are in the initial stages of research and acquisition of parts for this venture. There may be excellent advantages to having a group conducting similar conversions simultaneously wrt to parts acquisition and installation and initial tuning.
280 to 300 hp? ........ ohhhhhhh I'm likin' those numbers.

Yall are a buch of Damn liars HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

No...I too have seen the Dyno print outs for both Justin and Patrick's cars. They are both correct and Yes, we were all pleasantly surprised at the results that they got.

i wouldent be suprised at all if you hit thoes numbers. so many people under estimate mazda in general. and a BP and a Hundia have nothing in common and are totally different motors and cant be compaired like that. now if you were running a T3/T4 then i would expect close to 300 at 15psi. i ran a 14.7 with .9 R/T at 6 psi in my VJ14. thats damb fast for 8:1 compression @ 6 psi. with that tiny turbo. i would have hit mid 13 if i didnt have a hole in my IC. but now im running 15 psi very happly. its all tunning, my car is faster than several B6 and BP guys i know, and they have alot more than i do, as far as things that make power.

im more than willing to talk about some stuff with you on what iv found. one thing is i do all my own work i dont trust any shop with my vehicles. they all try to rape ya. it depends on how far you really want to go. its going to be several months untill we actually start on his project. but we will be redoing his entire car all at once. Turbo just takes up too much room with all the piping. its already tight with a ZE in there, and to top it off he has a 4 banger in there now. its not going to be too difficult, we will see.

Thanks Josh, I haven't sourced my SC yet, any recommendations ( I'm thinkin' the M62)? Will you be switching to a set of slim line fans also? I think the Q's will come in spurts as I move forward with this.

Finally! Heres my turbo set up that I was going to use but I will have to get a smaller radiator because the exhaust housing will hit the radiator. I didn't want to get a different radiator so I tired to make a supercharger bracket by the A/C location but its going to be way to close to the front frame cause I use the A/C braclet and a 1/2 inch thick aluminum for the bracket. I had it all bolted on yesterday and oh yeah its way too close. It will work if you don't use the A/C brackets. I beleive that the probes should have more room than us mazdas so it should fit the probes. I'm thinking about selling them cause I really need some money for some bills right now. Here are some pixs of my car and also the turbo pipings.

I didn't get any pix with the supercharger on yet maybe later. Oh its a M45 supercharger.

Oh yeah awhile back I wrote on here saying that the nissan 89 240 sx front lip fits our cars pretty decent and had never gotten a chance to put up pix so here it is on my car. Looks like the civic type R lips.
