Nope, you have Koni's... do they have the adjustment nut on the top?
If not, what setting did you set it at before installing it?

Well I didn't want to make a new thread...
I've ordered one of the last 3 sets of Mazdapseed struts.
Now I've got to decide on springs... everyone seems to suggest H&R's... and everyone thinks Eibach's are too soft.
Also another thing is that they say Eibach's are 1.3 front and 1.0 in the rear when they say on Eibach's website 1.5 front and 1.2 in the rear.
Also I should also get some Mazdaspeed upper strut mounts, yes?... can I get that from Corksport?
Oh is there a preference in Camber adjustment bolts?

It is, but I had a place order it for me locally. Autopower sends them directly from San Diego CA to your door step. Shipping cost me roughly 130 plus the cost of the roll bar itself - 4** something. It's not cheap, but man does it ever stiffen the car up big time.rmcg5 wrote:is that the one from options auto? if so can you send pics.... I tried to order Koni's along time ago and they had to come from Denmark. I never did get them so I settled for the Mazdaspeeds. All I can say is keep trying...

Setteled, J-Dog... I think the MS are the best you can get. Who better to set a damping rate than the people who can get all the specs from the source itself...
Anyway, all I lack on my suspension is the Whiteline rear sway bar and rear upper strut mounts. (and I hope that is the ticket for Valentine's Day)
MS struts, GCs, SRD controll arm bushings- coil rings- lower cross member, Cusco camber plates, front and rear upper sway bars.
PS, Ground Controlls use Eibach springs and you can order specific spring rates when you buy them from Cork Sport. However, the usual spring rate is good for normal aggressive driving. I don't remember exactly what I bought, but I did step it up a bit b/c I weekend warrior race my car.
The SRD controll arm bushings were like icing on the cake. My car feels like it is on rails now that I installed them. Well worth the money.

Right...Vanished wrote:Hey guys at Cork Sport they have koni adjustable strut INSErt...what is an insert.
The insert is the polished, metal rod that compresses and rebounds inside the body of the strut. It's doing all the work reciprocating. To install the inserts would require you to remove a plate at the top of the strut base but not without removing the old oil from the strut. With the plate removed, it should come straight out of the top and ready for the new inserts. Only thing I don't like about Konis - you have to remove the strut from the car to adjust them.

KYB-GR2 + H&R + Front & Rear CS Strut Bars + GS lower Tie Bar = teh nice
Just need to redue all my bushings and get a couple sway bars, I am thinking about doing double stock sway bar, a couple 323 guys run em and they say they work just as good as aftermarket setups, plus I have an extra one sitting under my bed...

i thought this was supposed to be about the ideal set up not necessarily what we have
ideal:
all SRD goodies
AST Fully adjustable suspension (struts and height)
Roll cage
New front sway bar from the zxtuner site
SS adjustable end links
front and rear solid (no moveable joints) strut bars
now that is a freaking awesome suspension set up... can't wait till i get all the parts for it finally cause that is the one i'm doing

I think Justin and I imagine that our set-up is the "best"... Especially since we said what parts we are lacking.
