2002+ have Bi-Xenon headlights, before that is a single Xenon. Same projectors are found in some Porsches and Mercedes ML 430/55 first Gen. Later version of the Hella Bi-Xenon projector are found in the latest Nissan Maxima, Mercedes E-class, BMW 5-series, 7-series and later X5.

Depending on what you are looking in the HID light, projector choices vary.
Consider:
Size
Ease of mounting
Bi-Xenon vs single Xenon
ECE vs DOT vs Harmonized
Sharpness of the cut-off
Prizm colour (that's why you see blue, but ground gets pure white)
Beam spread
Beam uniformity
Cost
Ballast suitability
D1S vs D2S

etc.
