OMG!!! OMG!!!!!!

Mike Evans (Zoso124) is the best friend any guy could ever have!!!!!

Ive known Mike for almost 7 years now. We met on the mx-3 email list and met for the 1st time @ carlisle 4 years ago. This weekend he is my best man in my wedding.

He came to visit back in december to help me put my KF-ZE in my GS, and did alot of the work because I had 2 deaths in the family the same weekend he was at my place unfortunatley. We came to the conclusion my piston rings we're fried in my KF. Knowing head gaskes and rings would cost more than a KL, I put the project on hold.

Now that im getting married in 3 days!! funds for a motor swap have been depleted. So a motor swap may be down the road. My girl told me the other day she needed another car cause her H car is falling apart. (Its not really just needs a little work because of how she drives the darn thing). She said she doesnt want me to fix my GS because her daily driver needs some work and it would only be fair to fix hers or get her something else (which I 100% agreed on.) so for me a swap would be on down the road.

When Mike came down in december I gave him a set of KL heads cause he needed a set (so I assumed) for his other GS. He also showed me the KLZE block he had aquired. Since he had issues with his KLZE he built I assumed he was going to do another rebuild.

... Think AGAIN!! What he was doing was building me a KL for a wedding present!!!!! Of course I can never thank the guy enough for all hes done for me. I just want to publically show my graditude for the best friend any guy could ever have!!!!

THANK YOU MIKE!!!

talk about a dedicated best man.... that's a phenomenal wedding present...

i was my bro's best man in September and i didn't do anything like that for him  but then again, had i tried to build a motor for my bro, i would have ended up just throwing a completely dismantled and indistinguishable couple hundred pound hunk of metal in a wrapped box w/ a bow--the card atached would probably read something like: "Sorry, i just remembered i don't know anything about engines. but don't take this broken, ripped-apart mess as a foreshadowing for what is to become of your marriage. here's to you guys!!"-HA!

For my bachelor party, Mike rented us an Eddy Bower edition Expedition, so that we would have 1 ride for all the guys and a designated driver. He is deffinatley the best man of the year!

Is he gonna tape cans to his MX-3 and have JUST MARRIED on the back hatch? That would be cool. I'd like some pics of that.
