There is also a service bulletin on that very issue. Take a look here http://www.mx-3.com/tsb/s004-94.gif
It explains how the window track wrinkles and pinches the window when rolling up.
It says it's only applicable to 92 and 93 models, but it is also happening on my 94.
Take a look at it.

Its happening to my 94 as well.. if you look on the info plate on the door frame.. you will see your build date (drivers door) Interestingly enough.. my build date was 11/93.. and my VIN falls within that specified range for the 93.. :?

yeah i have the same problem on my 95. Silicone spray has held up on it now for months, when i used wd-40 that stuff will only last half a day. I'm gonna try tightening those screw as mentioned above though.

Graphite and silicone will dissapate after a short time, I have also had this problem in the past. I found that a white lithium grease like the kind used to grease the pedal assembly works much better and you have to do it less often. I tried graphite first and it lasts for about a year, silicone last about the same maybe a bit longer and the lithium grease has lasted for about 3 years now without a problem. Just make sure that you get the spray kind and use it in several light coats. It is WHITE and will look bad it you make a mess of it. If you do get some on the visible side just wipe it off. you can get it at any auto parts store. Comes in handy for squeeky pedals, interior window guides, steering column, seat tracks, rear seat hinges, etc.
