That is one thing I never understood. If you have say for instance an ALPINE or JL Audio sticker isn't that just advertising "HEY come steal me I'm waiting here in this car for you to take" & mess my vehicle up while your at it.
Or in my dumb a-- brother in law's case why don't you just go all over town showing everyone what you have in your trunk so a day or 2 later someone can come jack it & mess up your trunk. So not only do you have money lost in equipment, you also have to pay to fix your car.

personally, i think rice is simply trying to make a car appear to be high performance without acctually making it so, and adding various kits/parts for the sole purpose of looking similar to other fast cars. i also think that upgrading a car's engine for the sake of looks over the sake of performance (paying alot to have someone else put performance parts on a car to make it faster without a true desire to drive faster than others) is rice.
body kits, depends, i don't really like big aggressive kits on anything, but when done right they're alright. stickers are definately rice after a point. having stickers for parts you don't acctually have is rice, and plastering 30+% of a car with stickers (of any kind) i consider rice. giant, pointless, useless, annoying exhast pipes are an epitome of rice. as are adding lights EVERYWHERE on a car (underbody + 6 foglights + interior neon + ...) i mean, good headlights are all you really need, plus MAYBE some driving lights to give more coverage at high speed.
i could probably think of more, but that's enough.
