I wouldn't go as far as saying the chrome altezzas are horrid, I think they're beter than the OEM early 90s look. But I much prefer the CF ones, even over the black. The black / grey of the CF suits any colour car in my opinion.
what rear light s look best on grey mx-3?

Must be an allusion - there's no black rubber around the altezzas.

Re: what rear light s look best on grey mx-3?
Like i said before, not to take offense, it was only a suggestion. i've seen altezza's on mx3s and they look alright. i am just coming from a group of guys that ride around in sleepers. fairly stock looking cars. i was just suggesting that he didn't need to alter the car that much and maybe to be a little different. If that's what he wants, then cool. the civic was just an example. Everyone is using the altezza. You see them on civics, tegs, preludes, tercels, corollas, etc. etc. Not that he shouldn't get them but maybe consider other options. be a little different than every other car out there.

Re: what rear light s look best on grey mx-3?
GO on summit and fins VHT Night Shades. I have 2 cans sitting at my house until i have time to tint my tails. It is illegal in most states to tint the Reflector. That is the only part that needs to be left untinted. So i suggest spraying 2 coats without the reflector then 1 with to blend it in.

Re: what rear light s look best on grey mx-3?
Well thanks for all the replies time to bring this page to a close now me thinks. Im gonna tint the standerd spec clusters red apart from the reverse getting rid of that big nasty bit of orange from each side will make the car look 50% better. This way its only gonna cost me a few bucks and will wait and see how things develop on the altezza side of things. Seems as if most of you guys are split 50/50 for or against altezzas which I wasnt expecting. In the Uk we dont have as many laws on modifying cars. As long as you can clearly see the lamps in daylight you can get away with tinting no problems. Cheers guys!
