Quality of Sylvania Silverstar or any other one that they make is unquestionable. But it is still a coated bulb, so you would loose the output. Just hope that they would increase luminiscence of it to compensate. I am not too sure. There was a lightbulb comparison in a british car mag somewhere, but I can't find the link. Sorry, this thread was about the quality of lightbulbs. I just thought that beside relaibility and longevity, quality such as light output is important as well.
