Yeah mazda are releasing some sportier versions of their main cars in europe - so far I've only heard about a NA 1.9l 190bhp MX-5 MPS which comes with a removable hardtop - but will remain a convertible and a Turbo'd 2.3l 280>bhp Mazda 6 (set to rival the subaru & lancer evo's so Im assuming 4wd + 4ws) ?? Jus thank god they're slowly removing the Demio from showrooms here lol

In Europe, they rounded up the 1844CC engine, and told it was a 1.9l ..
Yeah, mazda seems to have put back into motion there marketing departement, and bringing back sports cars ;)

Hmm... well if we investigate the flyer pictured above we can start to make assumptions. In the mean time I have a few friends who could probably translate it for me.
BUT... I'm assuming from the numbers that the new supra is a 395Hp 325Tq 3.5L Inline 6-cyl. Producing its max HP at 7100rpm. Thats after the oversized twin turbo induction kicks in. It says something about a 2.5L V6, but that is probably comparing the Supra to another sports coupe because it clearly states at 3.5L Normally Aspirated version will be produced. I like the new Supra styling, reminds me of Aston Martin's signature grille.
The newer RX-7 looks like another great addition to the family. Wonderful curves, projection headlights seamlessly placed, and oh yeah, does anyone else see a similarity between that hood and ours? The curves, angle of the front of the hood, the vent and the headlights, I sware it looks like and MX-3 hood. (I'm getting jealous now). The article is simply talking about the success of the rotary engine and the new Renesis RX-8. Then comparing the RX-8 to the concept drawing of an RX-7 that they received. The final note from the article is the mention of 2005, so... looks like a long wait ahead of us, that could mean either final testing or production and release of the RX-7 in 2005.
