Saturday would work better for me Sunday plan to take the ferries back to mainland

just to make things clear..if it this weekend. I think Sunday or late saturday afternoon after 12 is fine for me. orsaturday on the 12th.

Regreatfully with Everquest 2 comming out tommorow for me i may be playing it a fair bit so i perfer sunday cause i got to work monday

Really the Malahat is going to be closed? wierd, sunday i good for me. Taras or Greg anyone of you know how to change an alternator? cause i the one i got i need to install it.

installing Alts are easy. Just need small hands to get in into the spaces. Where are we meeting on sunday?

Taras hasn't said yet, but we should find out in the next few days. Yeah i figured it was easy to do but id rather make sure its done right

How do i get there then?? isn't the malahat the only way to get in to vict???

You guys.... Malahat was in reference to Malahat Auto Parts that Aiden was planning to visit, not the Malahat Drive as in the Hwy1 going North. I can not predict if they will close the road. It can only happen due to accident if some doe-doe will decide to wipe out there or construction. But, if that happens, you take a ferry from Mill Bay to Brentwood Bay on the Penninsula and drive down to Victoria. This will bypass the Malahat Drive.

As far as the meeting place THIS Sunday, lets meet at Dairy Queen on 2350 Douglas St. It's on your right hand side as you head South towards Downtown, right after Bay Street. This way it is central and easy to find for out-of-town guys. I know it is not an ice cream season. If we want we can move to Starbucks later on. Meeting time, lets say 1pm. Seems like we may have a chance of showers.

I have not changed my alt before, but I doubt it is difficult. Are you gonna change belts at the same time? May be Greg will volunteer his Garage. I have not heard from him yet.

Cool. I'll be there going to catch the ferry tomororw night

Not changing the belts, just the alternator for now, i have to do it pronto car is doing wierd things. hopefully this fixs this, i have got it looked at and got a charge test and they say its the alternator, who know what it might have to change the belts later.
