hey all this might help:<P>my friend raced a 96 gs precidia in his 92 integra and lost.<P>therefor the mx 3 is faster. it was a very close race but the mx-3 driver took more chances he said so i don't know. oh yeah and i raced the integra in my 92 rs sohc with 88 ponies and i got smoked big time, hehe..and the integra was stock and i had an exhaust system.. i literally got wiped out so u guys with a 4 banger, save your gas and reputation :roll:

Sorry bro, ALL integras after 1990 are faster than MX-3 GS stock, and you can modify those SOO easily and for cheap! to compare check out <A HREF="http://www.car-stats.com/" TARGET=_blank>http://www.car-stats.com/</A>

And stop comparing with hondas they have nothing on mazdas and a lot of honda owners respect mazda engines and know better than to race a rotary. If u want to be spoon fed parts then u ain't original. b creative. ;)

as far as power to weight ratio i think mx-3 is far better than acura
Magnum s/s lines, strut bars, carbon fiber bezel, indiglow gauge, Sony Xplod, inverted c/f hood, SRD lower tie bar '93 GS SE '95 Cobra SVT #2722 '68 Charger R/T 440

Its not always about raw horsepower either. Power to weight is way more important.

If youre racing, the best indicator of which car is faster is the 0-60 & 1/4 mile times and the GS is slower than the base Integra in both. Were not talking about other factors such as whose the better driver or track conditions or any other confounds. These times have been tested under the same conditions over and over again and the mean is taken for an average timing.

sorry but i would have to agree, a stock mx-3 does like high-mid 7's 0-60. At least mine did, and i have an auto.

I raced my friend in his 94or95 integra ls. he has intake, my 92gs has intake, exaust, short shifter. i beat him by a car. the mx will also pull on an integra but slowly.<BR>Dan

Those times are usually on streets, and the cars arent launched hard. They are also test cars that are not taken care of, and just have reporter after reporter flog them. Magizine times are SLOWER than what you can really do, in MOST cases.
