I have to say... The blue one is pretty, but that other color looks like a classy looking car, like a benz or something, and I HATE the classic look.
Oh well, the "old version > new version" rule will always hold true..
For me anyway
That car is cute though... in blue... no crappy color...

I just started it so it's not too far along. I'm building it in maya. I have some other things that I've made as well, but they're at home. I'll post them later.

Hey guys, i just finished my 8 month winter term at Sheridan College. i studied Computer Animation, in fact my industry day is tommorrow, hope to get a job working for EA, UBISOFT, or any video game studio. i also modelled the mx-3, its about 90% complete and i'll post some pics up real soon. hey Mike great start on the car. i'm using Maya 5.0 to model mine.

thanks for the feedback guys. i evenually want to have a fully working model, with open/closing sunroof, hood, doors and hatch. model the engine bay and interior. and last but not least, working car physics. update pics to follow.

i been wanting to get into this as well, have maya 4 program but it wont load properly, and a ten month course here is over 20,000 bucks. trying to borrow a copy to see if its my computer. good job guys.

i got maya 6... but i cant see any difference yet between it and 5.

no biggie tho.. i wish i knew more about modelling and rendering techniques like u guys do!

maya 6 has PaintEffects for polys now, .psd file support, redesigned clips, easy normal map creation, and interactive hair. its brilliant, i have a copy of it as well. just started using it.
