That wasn't my point. I like H&R because they give stiffer spring rates.<p>And they DO have a better reputation....but I've NEVER heard of quality problems with either company's springs.

Protege, i sent you an email a few weeks ago asking "What's the spring rate on the Suspension Technqiues lowering springs?". You replied back and said something along the lines of "...Suspension Techniques does not give their spring rates, but i would assume they are ~140 or so."<p>How do you justify the comment "I like H&R because they give stiffer spring rates"?

H&R springs for the MX-3 are KNOWN to be 180 front, 140 rear, IIRC. From that comparison, and my "guess" from driving and riding with both, thats where my guess came from.

hmmm i don't know if i would want any stiffer than Suspension Techniques. It's already a pretty ****in' stiff lol.<p>H&R and mazda speed struts is an excellent combo if you got more money than brains.

Tokico's run ~$455.00usd (taxes included), that's C$668.00.<p>ZX2 Sruts run ~$250.00 (taxes included), that's C$368.00. Keep in mind i added in the costs of the dust boots & upper thrust bearings.
