just wanted to shou you how the car looks before any suspension modifications. The back sits higher than the front...
The following picture is of my car within five days from the purchase of the car.
Image
Now, this next pic shows my car with 18" rims and lowered with Apex springs.
Image
the only way you will be able to adjust the spacing at the rear is either to get Ground Control sleeves or fully adjustable coil-over suspension....
hope this helps.
cheers,
[ August 06, 2002: Message edited by: precidian ]

precidian - is it just the pic, or is your car not lowered at all? Like, I don't mean any offense, but your car doesn't look much different from above, suspension wise. Maybe it's the angle of the picture or I'm just a dumbass. Let me know :D

there is no real "norm" with the look of a lowered MX.. the fact that your rear sits higher than the front is a good thing..
without going into too much of a technical explanation, having the rear of your car higher, increases load on the front when cornering, therefore increasing the grip at the front treads and enabling you to take the corner faster.. I think the term is "turn in" it improves your "turn in" ability..
is this right jesse?

well i can tell ya that taking corners now...on these mangled roads here in PA is sooo much easier---> and it was worth it for just that, if not improving the looks of the car as well...i am getting the neg. camber fixed today as well as the alignment done.. :D
Heather
