Water injection is actually really good. It cuts down Intake temps more so then most Intercoolers and keeps your engine clean and helps emmissions.

No you do not need a wastegate for a S/C cause S/C are pulley driven not Exhaust gas driven. Since they are pulley driven they only reach a curtain PSI then stop there, so instead of a boost controller you get different pullies.

also you can actually raise the boost and create more hp ( if the engine can handle the boost) and it wont lean out. usually you put a mix of 50/50 alcohol and water.
