They are all just like the FPR solenoid, for the most part.
Believe it or not, I still have the factory FPR arrangement in place. I figure, the closer to stock the ECU thinks it is, the fewer troubles I'll have.
You won't need larger ports - you are only activating the wastegate actuator.

I use a Cartech FMU to push up the pressure across all of the injectors and the SDS-EIC to add the remaining fuel.
The FMU means I'm not relying on the SDS for all of the fuel in boost.
