civic mirrors fit. I thought ppl on here had them and knew about it  ?

The holes for the mirrors have to be modified slightly, but they bolt right in.

I was going to do this to my Protege, but after seeing my friends civic with some on, I realized how crappy the mirrors really are. They cover WAY less area than the stock mirrors and would hinder your rear-view vision.

Talked to Derrick from Corksport today 1/17 and he said they ARE NOT trying to make brackets for the F1 style mirrors. The angle of the glass makes them not a viable idea on an MX. He said that possibly 3rd gen RX-7 door mount mirrors would work. He has a set of Mazdaspeed mirrors on order for a customer and when they come in he will give me a call and we can see how close they are.

I believe it was the EG model civics. Some dood on clubprotege did the swap on his car and i think some other ppl followed. the MX3 mirrors have the same general mirror bolt pattern and plugs as the protege, but the protege's don't have that extra hang-down part like our mirrors have on the actual bracket.

I myself would like to see a set modified and on an MX-3 before I would down the $$$. I can't tell, by looking at them by themselves, if the actual mirror part is gonna seem too small lookin or not. Also, somebody asked if the OEM power stuff would be easily transferrable into them? This also may sound retarded, but any idea on drag or wind noise?
