Yeah, but if somebody makes a BOLT-ON-Kit for the MX-3 with a reasonable price, it would be really nice.

No problem Sean. Later this month I'll be testing a prototype version on Justin's car. He doesn't drive it during the winter so it's the perfect car to work on. I want to have these kits in full production by next Spring.

That's the plan. I want it to require as little effort as possible. That's why this prototype is taking so long. It also takes a lot to calculate all the propper forces and angles. When it's done the kit may just consist of 2 parts and some bolts for each door.

hey guys i been reading about this Lambo door conversion and i found a site where they sell "universal" Lambo conversion kits! they have manuel or remote kits.it says it's available for all makes and models? well...i dont know if it's true? do you think it would really work? :shrug: .. kinda pricey though if you ask me huh, check it out<p>Manuel door kit<p>Remote door kit

Their kit will work but it doesn't look as good. I'm not too fond on the hinge system they use since it is difficult to clear the fender without scraping on our cars. Also, it will depend if you want to see this big gas strut bolted to your car's lower hinge which I think that looks ugly. If it turns out as good as you make it sound... Definately interested over here, and I can safely say there'd be at least 3 others I could vouch for that'd be interested too
