even better make a lip that looks exactly lke the j-spec lip

My GS spoiler is still in tact. I have bumbed it once or twice pulling into driveways. I am the second owner of the car, don't know if it was ever repaired or replaced. <p>As far as new lip ideas, at the NY meet I saw a pic of blue mx-3 with a carbon fiber lip which had the race style metal tie downs, like seen on the BMW front lips made by AC Shcnitzer (spelling?) I like a lip like that. The lip should def be easlily removable. I know one of these winters or trips to NYC I am going to break my stock GS one.<p>Evan

I know that I'm taking up an old thread, but how is your project with the lip-spoiler ?

my sponsor is finishing up some projects...
lips and projectors HOPEFULLY will be in full force soon.

So what will it look like? Do you have a basic idea?

hey hey i love this new lip idea! i've seen a few clean ones, and i think the one u showed first is nice (from the miata) and also that dtm one on the black car. i've also seen some on a lot of other kinds of cars that curve up on the sides.. like this car:

anything that protrudes off the front of the bumper too far looks ugly on teh Mx3. Take the combat chin spoiler fro fx designs. Yeah from a few angels it looks great, from the side? looks like a electric razor or snow plow, however you wish to see it...go for stock but a littel be ffier and a tad more aggressive...no wings or vents, please...hehe

is this still in the works...?<p>if so, are there any updates? sounds interesting.

Chins that stick out too far are too Gawdy for me. Barry, I like your Miata lip styled on, and the j-spec is my suggestion, but I'd definitely be in to by a Miata styled lip if it looks good. If you can, it would be cool if you could photoshop something with it on.

I was just going to repair my lip myself. Was gonna use some fiberglass cloth and soak it with plastic epoxy instead of fiberglass resin.

Eunos style. No holes or vents. It will just weaken it. It also looks like a splitter too.

im diggin the miata one up top. that looks sweet.
for the rear....anything that gives a lowering affect, cut out for exhaust and perhaps allow us to keep the mudguards. i dont know why but i like those on the car. dont do it like onder-ground, id say smething like pakafier but perhaps a lil smaller of an opening.

Not to dissapoint yuou, but I have no new news, the guy building them has been so busy, he hasnt had time to help me with anything these past few weeks. I'll post any new news I have once I get it
