thanks for the headsup marshmallow on the SE problem... what is the differnce between SE and GT models? yeah, its probably pretty weak plans even for a college boy.. but thats mostly because my MX will be left home for the first year for sure. and i don't feel like modifying a car that won't be driven. but when im done with my 4 years my car will most definitely undergo some changes! or maybe no one will care about MX-3's in 2008! who knows :p . but yeah it sucks to think that i will be halfway accross the country away from my baby lol. hit me back with your college plans sometime, just curious to see what your going to be up to.<p>[ February 07, 2003: Message edited by: mattster ]</p>

shoot im doing college part-time when i should be doing it full-time...actually im doing it part-part-time. like 2 classes a term. hah. i was gonna do 3 classes this term but i had to drop one cause of work. oh well...more money for melvin i say.

Everytime I diss a aluminum spoiler I goto www.mazdamaniac.com and look at steves and smile hehe<p>Over all I want the car to have a jdm kinda look to it, but everyone is doin that now so ill think of something. I want nice solid red paint, lowered 2 inchs, black or gunmetal rims. Most importantly of all i want to be pushing 350+hp wiht maybe 15-18lbs of boost. So once the swaps comes ill have to do some more research on what turbos can provide that..Good luck with your projects everyone!

these are the little things i have right now.<p>exterior:
fx designs full body kit minus the wing with a corksport rear hatch shade. <p>suspension:
konig rated r's with yok. parada spec 2's and a set of eibach lowering springs to put on when i get the money.<p>interior:
dual guage pod with a boost and a/f guage and thats about it.<p>exhaust:
2.5 inch down pipe and exhaust with a gutted cat and a pro r1 exhaust w/ silencer.<p>motor:
BPT engine swap that is stock with a haltech running about 10 psi but probly fix it to 12 tomorrow and prm cold air intake and 450cc eclipse injectors and an eclipse intercooler but i have the mitsubishi starion fmic waiting to go on also. pro lx tranny with a busted 1st gear synchro with a act stage 2 street/strip clutch with pro lx flywheel. <p>
now this is what im planning to do.<p>exterior:
front end coonversion from a 2000+ celica. carbon fiber hood with molded celica fenders and a blitz front bumper. get rid of all the hail damage and repaint the car bright yellow. then gun metal the rims i have now. mold the rear and side skirts to the car. <p>suspension:
install the lowering springs and then get probly tokico shocks. <p>interior:
recover the seats from the early model mx3 with a black and yellow material. fiberglass the dash. not sure on the interior too much. ill figure that out when i get there.<p>exhaust:
get a 3 inch downpipe and exhaust pipe.<p>motor:
tune the engine with the haltech better and get a etd racing manifold and get a t3/t4 turbo. not sure on what turbo to get but itll be something like the t3/t4. bigger injectors. either 550 or 650cc. run about 15-18 psi daily and about 20-25 psi at the track. get another tranny and cryo treat it and shot peen as much as possible. upgrade the clutch but not sure on that right now either. powder coat a few things and chrome a few other things to make the heart of the car look a little healthier. get some axles that come with a lifetime warranty so i can get them replaced when i break them. install the fmic. <p>thats about it for now. let me know what you think about my ideas. either way its all still in the process!!! <p>

I absolutly LOVE them. Before I had Pioneer coaxials all around and the Infinity's sound 100X better. Also I got the reference series, which is Infinity's lower line. I plan on getting the Kappa series REAL soon. I love infinity's.
