ok wheelz...let me make sure i get this right so i don't burn another neon.<P>i can use a single 18-gauge wire to supply volts from the battery to prong 1 on the switch.<P>i then connect the positive (copper color) wire to prong 2 on the switch.<P>the negative wire (silver color) goes to a bolt on the metal frame.<P>turn on switch and on?

and if i do this switch setup with a cigarette adapter extender....it has 4 additional cigarette sockets for 4 other accessories...will that single 18-gauge wire provide enough current flow for it?

In response to your post asking about clarifying things, you are right. As far as the cigarette lighter adapter thing is concerned, that must look pretty ugly sticking out of the console?? But yes 18 awg wire will be fine.
