... also i will compression test it again cause my theory with that is that maybe it sat so long that the rings shrunk up and just will not reseat and that is why i do not have the right amount of compression. it is only supposed to have 35 thousand miles on it so the motor should still be good [/QB]

If that's the original engine it isn't a K8. If it's not the original, who knows how many miles it ran before it was fitted in that Probe.

hey guys figured out the problem and got it started. i poured some oil down in the cylinders to re seet the rings for the right amount of compression and got 170 psi at every cylinder so its good. also the timing had jumped so i fixed that and everything is good right now. except a couple things check engine light keeps coming on and the temperature gauge sky rocketed and the way home and the heater stopped working i think it is the thermostat but not sure so if u have any other ideas it would be great thanx.
