Thats true, I forgot hes in the UK. Either way theres barely any difference.

21.9mpg/000 rpm means 4100 rpm at 90 instead of 5000 or so - that's a pretty big difference.
I'm hoping that I'll be able to get hold of a 626 tranny when I do my 2.5 swap as I reckon it'll make the car far better - particularly for my long commute.
I've always been amazed that Mazda never made a real road burner MX-3 themselves, it would have cost them almost nothing. Maybe they were scared of losing MX-6 sales ?
