I have considered filling the stock mounts and will end up doing that if this doesn't work out.
part of the problem is without going to mazda I can't get my hands on a good rear mount. the one currently on the car is shot, not worth trying to fill. I would have to rebuild the rear mount and make it solid somehow. Another down side to filling your mounts, the down time. To do it corectly would take 24 to 48 hours for curing.

hoped that answered your ?

Spawn if youre still interested in pictures of the original mounts go to www.corksport.com look under MX-3 select drivetrain and click on the picture of the MAZDASPEED engine mounts...

It's a pretty good picture where you can see how the mounts should look ;)

I'd might be interested but like some of the other guy's mentioned maybe the mounts would be to hard compaired to the MAZDASPEED's??

So the whole car would shake when you flip the throttle :laugh:

I'd be in if these come out in a couple months, but how are these different from any other urethane mounts.

ID like to hear some feedback from the PGT owners about these mounts before ID want a set.

Oh, and why not make them where they shift the engien forward a bit? So we could use a straightneck KLZE IM :)

Yours must be pretty ton up then. I'm just filling the ones on my other car because the rubber has started ripping and the engine's starting to vibrate. I think it's from towing. Anyways, I'm just filling them like that. I figure the liquid urethane should take to the old urethane if I clean it good enough before pouring the mold.

So which of these mounts are the front and rear mounts?
<img src="http://www.corksport.com/content/00/01/ ... 530048.jpg" alt=" - " />

Someone asked how much....probably about 125 + shipping. That is how much the Probe ones are. Also, Mazdaspeed mounts are only stronger rubber not a urethane...plus they arent solid. They still share the same design as the stock ones. The solid urethane ones are as they sound SOLID...they will make the car feel the motor more but the engine wont slam when shifting cuase it is strongly held to the chassis.

yes it's your imagination - they are symmetrical about the centre bolt hole. Will you be doing the transmission mount and the upper engine mount as well - or just the other 2?

As we have only done for the Probe/Mx6 we will be only doing the front and rear. Those are the two that take the most abuse when shifting.
