I punched it out because it had broken up. Wasn't for power reasons. A test pipe might sound a little better.

I've been thinking of putting a catylitic back on mine. I have an impending ZE swap though. I'll be using 2.5 hotshot headers with it. For me it will come down to what makes it easier to bolt my current catback to the headers.

There is someone selling MX-3 testpipes on ebay now. You might want to try your new exhaust with that or with a cat in place. Only takes a few minutes to swap between them.
