I bought my complete BP Engine harness for $7 at the Junkyard.

It took less than 30 minutes to pull it.

It look less than 30 minutes to install it.

The ECU was like $25.


Anyway-- the Auto Tranny may be fine, but you should really add a tranny oil cooler. Mine was installed in less than 45 minutes.

It will add many many more miles on your tranny.

The BP Swap is definatley worth it... but if you dont want to do it-- I am sure you could sell that Crate engine for a MINT!

Allow me to throw in one more warning about the 1.6 automatic. It wont last. The cooler will definitely help, but if you drive aggressive at all, its going to have problems. Sorry, know its not what you want to hear.

The Pro Lx automatic box and ATX ECU if you can source one, would be the answer.
