no im using the '98 protege motor with an 1.6 SOHC mx-3 ecu

marlen, im assumming ur still running a 94 pro lx engine with a mx-3 ecu. i have the 92 mx-3 which we all know is a 1.6 sohc...and if hes running the mx-3 ecu, it would be easily adpated for the safc..now what about the reprogramming. last i heard corksport was working on it but nothing complete as of last i heard. so where are thei getting the ecu re programmed???

i running a j-spec 94 bp with escort gt wirring harness and ecu
u can use the sohc wirring harness and ecu but u might run lean, u don't get virs and u don't get the 7300 rpm redline so whats the point of the engine swap <p>so just use the escort gt (or pro lx in the us) wirring harness and ecu
i got both for less then 250 cnd <p>and about the safc u need a 4 wire tps and these engines only use a 3 wire unless u use the auto tps
i have heard u cause use a map sensor but don't know how

aight kool. cept still on the hunt for a gtx ecu and wiring harness. im hoping my uncle can find one for me. thank you us army for putting him there!! id really like that way cuz then i dont have to bother with a safc. <p>the 7300 rpm redline is very nice. well.......geesh i wish college wasnt in the damn way of this, but it is so time will tell when i can get this done. thanx for ur help marlon
