Yeah, get a high flow cat, they help out with about 4-5HP if you're lucky. I got a Custom Made Catback Exhaust with a Remus Twin Tip Muffler, all for $250 US. it sounds really good, Nice and deep. Sounds Mean as H*LL! Grr baby! Very Grr!

do you guys goto meineke or carx or sumthing?and how much did it cost to weld on a muffler.i just bought a r1 racing muffler but if the muffler store costs to much,im just gonna clamp it on myself

I went to Tuffy, They Custom made mine and put it on for $250

A weld isn't that expensive. Having them bend the pipe is expensive.

I just had Midas put on my Ractive muffler and it cost me $80- took them like an hour of bending, clamping and welding. The muffler itself cost me $165+taxes so like $190.(i got mine at cost) But its well worth it- sounds killer now zoom zoooooom<P>~*Michelle

Tuffy only charged my friend 20 bucks to have his muffler welded on to his original exhaust system

If yopu stay away from big chains youll most likely get a better deal. A local muffler shop should weld it on for like $20. Just get the phone book out and call them.
