Ill try to take more engine bay/IC piping pics, mounted IC low just below front bumper support that way piping is below fogs.

Have to get a picture with bumper cover on, it was getting pushed out by intercooler but fits pretty good after minor trim with dremel

Had to repin b6 ATX Wiring harness to match up with GTX BP26 ECU. Was difficult lots of repinning
used these links to find out what swaps needed to be done...

http://www.clubprotege.com/forum/showth ... rness+bp26

Re-pinning is no fun, tough getting the pins out of the harness without ripping them out and breaking piece of yellow plastic that grabs onto metal clip to secure it in harness. Had to switch some of the pin types as well since there are sm/lg pins and some re-pinning meant switching pin types. Wiring is a mess too since wires from my 3 ATX plugs are all crossing over to different plugs + new connections I had to make... wish I could clean it up maybe sometime down the road.

She runs! Loud but don't have downpipe on it yet!
More pics of piping...

Like the black intercooler, very stealth

Things to do:
Downpipe and Magnaflow High Flow Cat
Bypass valve connection

After GTX injector install I noticed some fuel leaking from second injector near fuel rail... rebuilt the injectors with these Denso injector rebuild kits. No more leak, bought at a great deal and glad I replaced all those tired injector components for my build!

Next: install bypass adapter/hose for BOV and install BP26 downpipe

Installed GTX downpipe, works great for my setup since I don't care to have custom work done for time being. I still have OEM cat, have magnaflow 2.5" ready to go in soon.

Installed bypass adapter for my Greddy type RS style (ebay) BOV, also did single spring mod described here... http://www.evomoto.com/tech_info.php?tPath=1&tech_id=7.
Also trimmed bumper to accommodate intercooler setup better, almost perfect.

Had to replace hard brake lines in rear, what a PITA. Came pre-bent from Mazda but was damn hard fitting them in since the are HUGE

Got car shipped up near me, just need to export and get Quebec plates.

Image

Surprisingly since I did turbo I have hardly driven her, since we have been doing long distance relationship for a while. Today drove around small streets getting up to third gear. It drives well, seems to boost well but after pushing it a little I popped hood noticed this.....

Image

I'm paranoid since I have no big experience with forced induction. I believe my setup is good, could this be smoke from carbon build up or turbo not getting boost for a long time? I guess would clear up after a while if this is the case. Any thoughts?

Proud picture, my MX-3 finally brought to my new home. Moved 4 months ago and had to bring up from CT, shipped part way then had to import to Quebec. I have been away from this car too long - 3 years in Brooklyn + 1 1/4 years near Montreal and finally we are reunited. Many long trips to my family's place in Connecticut trying to get her fixed up, turbo'ed and running properly... it finally pay's off! :D

Have you done the Quebec inspection yet? I'm curious to know what they say for the turbo system.
