is that a custom made intake manifold?

does having both sides of the valve cover connected to the same air line cause any issues?

yes thats a custom intake manifold and i will be redesigning the manifold in a month or two.


NO it does bot cause a issuse, i just didn't want the pressure going back into the intake manifold.

Well the IHI hybrid turbo is finally here and going on shortly. Here are some pics showing it with the stock IHI VJ-11 turbo and by itself.

New bigger boost guage sticker on back of mx-3 strip rear end and painted intake manifold bronze to match intercooler and valve cover. new vaccum blue lines, better suited msd wires. new backet to hold my tec system made that myself.

I need more power guys 12 sec's ain't fast to me any more.

well its not suppose to be rnu like that. seems liek he is pulling vacume from both sides. One is suppose to pull vac(the one with the valve) and the other is suppose to let filter air back in...so the other can keep pulling vacume. that way it circulates and keeps sludge build up and other nastys from happening.

Upon further inpection it does not seem like he is pulling vac for the PVC system at all because he is not hooked it up after the TB.

Megasquirt V3.0 ordered, bigger injectors ordered, new hybrid turbo to be installed. Time to stop playing around and get serious. :twisted:

and its about damn tyme i might say my 12 sec mx-3 just doesn't cut it for me anymore. i don't get a rush anymore i don't get scared anymore. it doesn't even feel fast to me anymore. everyone that have ever ridden says differently. i need to step it up again.

as for the sohc project i need a trans and some other stuff. its a project on slow prosses

2.25" intercooler piping
2.5"-3" intake piping
Blitz BOV
626 intercooler
F2T injectors

Parts still on the shelf needing install
VJ11 turbo
3" magnaflow cat
3" magnaflow muffler

you guys have no idea how long i've been waiting to be on this list.... its an honor to say i have the first and only turbo mx-3 in el paso tx.....

will be on ms soon ...for now at 4 lbs .... spools up very very good im hapy with my results .... total spent 1,800 usd...... post up pix soon

Any new updates for you folks?

I have a ton of parts here to install but I have been busy lately and so has my mech so hopefully I should have something new to post in 2008.
