On a long shot though, check your grounds, more specifically I can remember the ground near the VRIS not be connected and causing me no spark.
Lol I forgot that wire the other day and wasted about 20 minutes trying to digure out wtf it wouldn't start :P

Totally isnt the place for this, but i dont wanna start another post for 1 simple question. how many liters of gas fit in our tanks? i got 3/4 of a tank of horrible gas. trying to figure out how many pales ill need to get it drained(i live in an apartment so this is being done in my parking lot :welder: ), i know it takes like 38-43 bucks to fill it. so like anywhere near 40 liters? which would leave me with like, 30 left? am i right or wrong? hahah. thanks.

It's got 50 litres max. If you siphon some out and it's got cruds and other debris in it, I'd be taking out the fuel tank and giving it a super good clean. Otherwise just empty it as much as possible and then fill it as much as you can with the best octane fuel to even things out.

Okay, i put on a different vaf, this one i got with my ecu from the lady i bought it off of. it came off a mx3 that had 124,000kms. so i take it, it is in good condition. but it still does the face plant when under load. it idles fine and i can send the revs through the roof while at idle and while coasting with the clutch in. but i can drive it normally with no excessive throttle like just enough to drive it but any more and it bogs n feels like i got 0 power. What all would cause this issue? :S so confused.

i set the idle and timing, checked the gas and its still good. Shell gas is the best. no gross stuff inside the tank either.

just keep driving it, it may sort itself out. i had the same problem and after a couple weeks of driving it went away.

Or your cat converter could be blocked. Under load you'd feel it the most. Odd that it revs freely when in neutral. Could be a fuel supply issue too. You changed fuel filter?

Could try playing with the TPS too.

yaaaah i was thinking about that earlier too. what exactly would i do to tinker with it? just turn it a bit n see? but it never did this before i had this ignition problem.

I just thought, wouldnt my car idle rough and be all over the place if the tps was shot? and my rpms drop when i tried n punch it? if i didnt mention that n that give any ideas? and also i had another idea, are the keys on the klze disty the same size? so it can be put into the cam both directions instead of just one like the k8? thinking maybe im 180 degrees out? or another one, there was different colored wires on the harness then in the diagram.. is it possible i hooked up the wrong one and left the right one unhooked?

No you can't put the disty in the wrong way. I've removed and installed distys about 20 times on 3 different cars and it only goes in one way.

okay. well then i dont know what would be causing this. i dont wanna wait 2 weeks for it to smarten up. :crying:

Edit: getting injector cleaner and fuel stabilizer tomorrow. and also gunna freshen up every ground. any other ideas?

Edit again: Any chance this could be caused by my msd coil being effed? it was bought used.
