Hey all...I know it has been awhile...but started doing some more work on the mx3 :2thumbsup:

Finally got my turbo situation sorted out...another vf10/vj20 hybrid is in, and this time no more smoke show / oil pouring out the center cartridge.

Still have some other things to address...got a set of manual seat belts to swap in place of the automatic ones...etc...
but should be road ready soon FINALLY  ( fingers crossed )

Quick video of the car idling and revving it up posted to youtube (hopefully the link works)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Nybgp7Bp8s

Will update more when I can, thanks
(PS...if anyone is interested, I am putting my 88 mazda 626 turbo up for sale...I have it on Craigslist under lehigh valley PA)

Hey Aaron...going to Carlisle this year?

Small update, fixed the oil pan leak on mx-3...wired up some hella supertones... and rolled all the fenders...

Image

Also ran it on the dyno for a bit, to get drivability sorted and a safe conservative set-up for breaking in the engine.
Still made 194.28 HP and 174.94 torque, at 8psi and only running it up to 6000rpm.
( after break-in, will be doing more tuning, redline up to 7000rpm, and around 15psi or so...
Still have a bunch of little things to button up, and then alignment and inspections.

More to come soon, also some video's from the dyno

Small update...mx-3 now has almost 1000 miles on the engine...I have been driving it daily for the past month.
It's weird driving it again, after 8 years of being off the road...
Manual seatbelt's are swapped in, and got some different wheels ...still needs an alignment and tune for more psi now that its broken-in.
Some pics of the new wheels:

Also sold the 626 turbo...and got a jeep pickup truck ....and traded an FC shell for an 04 audi a4 ...
pic of the mx-3 with my next project, 4wd protege..and the jeep comanche
