The time has come.... now need your help

Post by dam2009 »

The time has come! my poor SOHC is going away. And that's where my problem starts. I'm having a trouble choosing the new engine. Either the BPT or new 94-96 DOHC+Nitrous kit. The money is a bit of a factor too. I don't want to refill my tank every 3 day with the bpt but then I don't want to kill the new engine with the nx. Which one would you go with?<BR>Thanks

dohc with nitrous. its kinda hard to kill the engine with nitrous unless you abuse the newfound power. easier swap and you can turbo it later if you want.

if you get nitrous, its all about self control. Don't go using it everytime you want to race someone at stoplights.

Dont forget that the wiring harnesses are completely different. You might as well go with the BPT. Talk to Ashley or one of the other guys that have done the swap.

yeah I know....I found 2 mx-3's in the local scrap yard. one happens to be 95 4cyl. (body's gone) so i might supply myself up there. It's kinda pricy to do that here in Canada.
