I just need to vent. As some of you know, I'm doing a swap, I drive the mx to and from the shop as things need to be done by them. I'm so sick of being tailed by stoopid kids in there "suped up" cars. I've taken my car out twice in the last 2 weeks and encountered 5 of these jacka$$es. I'm driving the speed limit, a jetta comes flying up on me,cuts me off, doesn't realize the road starts to turn to the left, takes it too fast and ends up in the opposing traffics lane. For what?? I wasn't racing? He almost got in a head on collision with some mom and her kids. I got tailed by an audi a-4 which looked like it was being driven by some punk teenager that you could barely even see, i could see his hand on the steering wheel as he was slouched in his chair trying to pimp ride it, all the while he's on my a$$ and I'm doing 40 in a 35. Then a neon takes off at a light thinking I'm racing. And a lancer with a body kit and thats it rides me for several blocks straight. Not even gonna mention the goober in the lexus. whats up with these guys anyways? Drive the freakin speed limit for once, not everyone is racing all the time! And stop riding my freakin a$$!! I agree, I usually drive between 5 and 10 mph over the speed limit. If I see somebody coming up on my *** quick, I usually slow way down, because then the dude is going to FLY by me, and if a cop sees that, it will look even way worse and they are very likely to get a ticket. LOL

When someone comes flying up on my @ss i'll speed up beside another car so they cant get bye pissing them off and the turn off just as the two lanes join into one sticking them behind the other slow car, i usually go past my turn off just to be a @ss. I live in a small town but there alot of punks that race their stock cars trying to be cool, only fast cars in town are a laser at close to 400 horse and the regular mustangs, camaros and my brothers slammed chevy silverado.

Next time some kid wants t race, tell him to pull over and punk his *** out for being an idiot. If some kid cuts me off, Id act like I wanted to race,wave asking him to pull over, and knock his damn teeth out.

Once again it happens, I'm go to make a payment to Maxx auto works and some a-hole in a freakin 4 door escort with exhaust rides me not more than 2 feet from my bumper, I can't even take a 15 min. trip down the road. What Barry mentioned was what I wanted to do. I'm not trying to sound like a *****, but if you fix up your car like you have (turbo, wing, wheels, I/C, etc) you're gunna have people want to race you. They're gunna see you as a ricer also. Sorry to say, but it's the way it is. I get people like that right now and my car is stock. I get it more at night because of my indiglo gauges. I understand you needa vent sometimes, as I have vented on this board my share also. But you have to realize that the ends do justify the means. You turn your car into a race car, people are gunna wanna race. Plain and simple. Only thing I'd suggest is havin them pull over and tell them you'll race them on the track.

yea unfortunetly ignoring them doesnt work that well, there's a guy down my street has a beat up black acura integra rs, all you guys have this car in your town, you knwo the one with mutiple colored body kit parts, and is blowing more smoke then you local pot head, anyway ive ignored him everytime he's wanted to race, and well in the past 3 months ive replaced 6 tires due to slashings, now i cant say its him but i have no enemies and im a laid back guy so i never piss anyone off but yea its pritty aggrivateing spinning 800 in 2 months on tires.

I wrote a complaint similar to this a couple of months ago. It was about jackasses that were trying to race me when I was on my way to work in the morning around 8:00 or 9:00 am. Im tired and mad about work and some tool is gonna try racing me?? Oh man it makes me angry. Barrys got the right idea. Start boxing some ears in your neighborhood.

all i have exterior wise is wheels i don't even have a muffler its stock. i have a cai so it sounds cool when i floor it but i have people try and race me and stuff all the time. today this one dude really pissed me off they come flying up behind me so i just kept doing the speed limit and the van next to me did the same thing. well there was a red light up ahead so i slowed down well now this terd face is like a foot from my bumper no lie then they go to change lanes and cut a van off so u know what i do? i slam on my brakes hping they hit me( i know that sounds dumb but i have full coverage and these people would have been screwed) but the dumb bastard missed me by like an inch then they flick me off. i fealt like chasing them down but my friend talked me out of it which im glad he did. when people do this i normally just try and piss em off by getting in front of them then going real slow. one time this dude in a civic goes flying by me so when he gets and front of me and does the speed limit i passed him at the next passing zone then did literly 15mph in the middle of the road so he couldn't pass. finaly i got out of his way and let him go but i think that teashes them a lesson. i know i show off and stuff but im not a **** to people and i don't put people lives at stake. the most i have ever doen is taken off fast from a stoplight not even flooring it just faster than i need to. i dunno stuff like this is what makes the cops watch the "fixed up" cars more closly and it sucks for the people that do follow the rules most of the time cause the one time we don't we get screwed.

wow, you guys are a pretty angry crowd, I hope I never get to close to any of your bumpers because it sounds like I'd probably get stabbed or beaten with a 2x4 or something! You guys just gotta learn to ignore those clowns sooner or later they are going to wreck their cars and if they happen to rear end you when they are following to close let them hit you, then their parents will have to pay for a new bodykit for your car. Oh well, I guess its just the price we have to pay for having such sick cars. <p>Funnest thing to do is to cruise around in a Corvette, nobody, I mean nobody ever has the balls to rev on you. You don't even have to go fast, I love driving my uncle's vette and just poking along and barely accelerating at lights. All the idiots in their civics and integras start sweating bullets when you pull up next to them-they won't even look you in the eye. I dont know about u but i dont ever care if its a civic or anything else. I do take off quick at lights to the speed limit, not into racing, but a vette aint nothing to me.<p>Two good friends eat up vette's commonly with their z28's. The Z only needs a touch of mods to kill the c5's.
