Re: NHL Playoffs - April 17, 2003
The Bruins are out!!! Noooooo.... oh well Brodeur played a series comparable to Giguere - and I think that the Ducks deserve to go all the way... Just hope that the Sens or the Stars don't take it all away from them... cuz the stars goalie is on FIRE too!
About the Wings though, the owner Mike Ilitch invested about $68 million into the wings this season, and he lost HUGE on them since they got knocked out first round... which could pose a big problem seeing as he may not offer free agents next year (ie: Federov, Yzerman, McCarty, Larionov, Woolley) as much money as they ask for.
GO DUCKS!
Re: NHL Playoffs - April 17, 2003
In my pool I've got Langenbrunner and Gomez. What happened to Gomez? I've got 3 Ottawa players, but so does everyone else. I'm kickin' a$$ though, as I have Zubov and Modano.
Personally I think that Jersey is going to take it.
one

As for the Sens past, they have to learn from mistakes. This year I think they got it right.
NO LEAFS NO !!

Not a chance the devils can take it all - im sorry. I know they beat the Bruins in 5, which is a pretty quick sweep (yes, i admit it, even though I am the biggest Bruins fan!!) but Brodeur got shelled 5-1 in game 4 and he got pulled out of the game for the first time since 1995.
Against the Bruins no less...

I hate the Avs so much, so I am very glad that they are out. With the Wings and the Avs both out in the first round this year's playoffs are wide open now.
