Possibility to upgrade
I have a 92 RS with 93k miles on it. I have come across a guy who says he has a 93, but I think it has to be a 94 at least because it has the DOHC and the newer interior, right?
Anyway, this other has 119K miles, and an exhaust leak somehere, and I was wondering everyone's oppinion on whether or not I should go ahead and do this. I mean it isn't exactly a major improvement, especially if I am going to mod mine as planned. Just wondering what you guys think. Oh and he's asking 2300 USD for it. Thanks for the info.

Re: Possibility to upgrade
i wouldent if i were you. its not an upgrade really other than one year. if it were a GS id say sure. if it were a DOHC like you had mentioned then i would probably say go for it, and it is in the 94 on up. but all in the end its up to you dude. and if having another SOHC makes you hapy go for it. one to fix up and one to beat into the ground.

Re: Possibility to upgrade
Stay with the SOHC. Once it dies, go for the BPT swap. That's what I did.

Yeah late 93 they starting putting DOHC's into the RS's. It wouldnt be bad to have 2 mx-3's, I would actaully like another just to keep stock and drive around but for $2,300 im not sure. If the body is in near perfect shape and everything else seems to be OK then do what you must.
