a few technical problems with my car can anyone help?

My '94 MX-3 squeakes when i first start it but then its fine after that. Then about 5 mins after its running it starts to die almost, then i give it gas and it goes back down to dieing, maybe thats my battery so i charged it and then it was running fine so idk if i have a weak battery or an alternator. Also my car doesnt seem to heat up fast its on the very bottom past cold and i have to rev the engine high for a while to warm it up its real wierd. My accelerator is really touchy, i pretty much just put a toe on it and the thing high revs, is there some way i can fix this without too much trouble? Well if ne one could really help me on this id really really appreciate it.

You can adjust the throttle cable at the throttle body!! Use the 2 nuts at the bracket holding the cable to the intake manifold!! It works like a bicycle brake lever...in for loser, out for touchy!!

Is it good to have the accelerator that touchy? because i mean its REALLY touchy. Thanks for your feedback ill try that though, i kinda figured you would do that but everyone i asked told me that you couldnt so im glad i can. Thanks

I guess its really how you like it!! I like my my peddle touchy... its all up to the driver!!

Will it effect anything? Doesnt that mean that it will squeal the tires more?
