well summer is coming to an end and winter is around the corner.
so i wanted to fix the annoying as hell squeling sound i get when starting my car when its cold, or been sitting for long.
just wondering which belts they could be.
im thinking its the alt. belt but i could be wrong.

Check belt tension, both belts, while you're there. Check their condition as it sounds like they may need replacing. A manual will tell you everything you need to know, good luck!!
If not broke - don't fix, modify. If broke - fix it right, and make it better.

Yes usually it is the alternator. It is reall easy to tighten. Just find the alternator and loosen the Bolt. THen use a pry bar or my favorite a monkey wrench, and use the grooves on the alternator and the mount bracket to force the alternator towards the firewall to tighten the belt. It is an easy proceedure which i do all the time when i have to get to my HKS Cam Gear to mess with the timing. Hope that is good enough. If you have any questions or what a picture of how to do it i can do that sunday or monday after the Corksport Show and Shine on Saturday.
