Tranny life is a direct result of driving style. Either that or you keep getting bad trannys.

edit:
Do you get a lot of wheel hop?
Has the Car been wreaked?
Does the car have custom motor mounts?

Wheel hop will utterly destoruy a tranny in a very short amount of time. The G series take the blows better but even they can blow up quick.

Motor mounts can affect how the load is placed on the tranny, as long as they are in relative decent shape they wont put unusual loads to cause the trans to sit at a unusual angle.

If they are a good tranny shop i would suggest asking them why it failed. They should be able to figure it out.
