thinking of 1.6 dohc to 1.8

i was thinking about putting a 1.8 dohc in my 94 rs i have a 1.6 dohc right now but i was curious on if i could use my old tranny and what all i would need besides the engine to make this work.
2'intrax lowering springs..injen custom intake..port/polished...arospeed 1/2 exaust..autometer gauges..unorthodox racing underdrive pulleys..chip.

why not just turbo u 1.6 dohc..
a 323 b6t turbo will bolt right up

you can use the 1.6 trans, thats what i was using when i first swapped motors. if you plan on turbo charging your car and running high boost i would just get the 1.8 trans

I was thinking of going in the same route, and was wondering also other than the new engine what should i get... Clutch? other accesory. I also plan on doing an n/a buildup...

well we rebuilt the motor and the rings werent seated...smoked realllllllllyyyyy bad so my motor is all over garage and i was just curious if i shud finish this one or go with new one.
